why use blog?
In Indonesia, teachers usually use any kinds of media in teaching and learning activities. Both traditional and modern teaching aids have been used by the teacher to support the teaching activities. One of the teaching aids that is used by teacher is blog. Teachers introduce blog to the students in order to make teaching and learning process become easier, but in Indonesia it has not been used properly. in fact they can make the student interesting to study, make the student explore their ability, to practice their skill, and make the student knows the high tech.media.
In Brazil, according to Carla, everybody in class can learn how to use blogs. As a teaching media blogs by giving project and make interaction sharing. blogs challenge how to keep interaction high and promote for communication. Student in Brazil express themselves to many people to become closer and make community understanding.
In Argentina, Rita said blogs is having time, cheapest, fastest, and it can improve English by giving and weeping photograph and mess. Rita, one of the teachers from Argentina, uses blog to help her students learn English in a faster and more comprehensive way. According to Rita, language is a tool to communicate with human being. Because of that, when we learn about a language, we have to use it as a tool for our communication. Blog is a tool for anybody to experience communication such as sending comments, sending messages and arranging meeting. By using blog, students can have a contact with students from other countries and do a project with partner and international students.
And last in Taiwan, teacher use various facilitation in blog to make video voice record. Video about assignment, speech presentation, write report, then upload or sent to e-mail.
